the laptop these days is getting HOT. and now im not blocking any holding it and typing to get let it cool down :)) under the laptop. lets talk about what things i didnt like on it :when playing Crysis or any other game with high graphix. i dunno.
actually i think its the best for gaming.2.4GHz Is not bad FAST 400GB HDD , WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE and the screen is sexy with the res 1920x1200i dont agree with that guy who said about the restore cd and stuffu get the CD with the laptop and u have it on ur D drive Recovery Drive and you can Burn it on a disc any timenow. u need to open the bottom vents and it will be cool :Danother thing. . it wasnt like that. This laptop is cool.
the 8800 GTS gets hot. i think its from the HDD.
If you buy a Gateway anywhere but their website you must call a separate toll number. They charged me $20 for a $1 CD-R. Again WTF. Had to get the recovery disk.
Anything but Gateway. Get HP. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get a Mac. We called 1-800-GATEWAY for support. Guess what. Then we needed to restore it but the restore partition was bad. Then it wouldn't work, and they wanted to charge me to tell me how to use it.
Get an abacus. We bought a Gateway and Windows got hosed for some reason. WTF. These people are horrible.
